Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • 1 cup milk or plant-based milk (almond, oat, or soy)
  • ½ banana (optional, for natural sweetness)
  • 1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • A few ice cubes (optional, for thickness)
  • A pinch of sea salt (enhances flavor)
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional, for depth of flavor)

Instructions

  1. Pour milk into the blender first, followed by almond butter, cocoa powder, chocolate protein powder, banana (if using), and any optional ingredients.
  2. Blend on high for 30–45 seconds until smooth and creamy. If it’s too thick, add more milk.
  3. Taste your smoothie. Add a drizzle of honey or maple syrup for sweetness if desired. Blend again for a few seconds.
  4. Pour into a chilled glass or shaker bottle.
  5. Top with sliced almonds, cacao nibs, or a dusting of cocoa powder for a café-style finish.
