Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh small fish
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 tsp chopped garlic
- 2 green chilli, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- ½tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- ½ tsp red chilli powder
- ½ tsp cumin powder
- ½ tsp kashmiri chilli powder
- salt to taste

Instructions
- Firstly marinate the fishes in salt and turmeric powder.
- Heat 4 tbsp mustard oil in a pan till it is close to its smoking point. Shallow fry the fishes on medium flame.
- Once you have completed frying the fishes, keep them aside on a plate.
- In the same pan, if required, add some more Oil and wait until the Oil becomes hot.
- Add sliced onion, chopped garlic and saute for 2 minutes.
- Add cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, Kashmiri chilli powder, coriander powder and mix it.
- Add chopped tomatoes and salt into the pan and give a nice mix.
- Cover the pan and cook on low flame for 2 minutes.
- Now add fried fishes and give a nice and gentle stir and cover the pan. Cook them on low flame for another 2 minutes.
- Switch off the flame and put the pan down.
