Ingredients

  • 2 tsp oil
  • 2 dry chillies
  • 10 curry leaves
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp cumin powder
  • 2 cups soaked soya chunks
  • salt
  • Pumpkin, chopped
  • 1 big potato, chopped
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • glass water

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a Kadai or Pan, add dry chillies, curry leaves, sliced onion, ginger garlic paste and saute till golden brown.
  2. Add turmeric powder, cumin powder and saute for a minute.
  3. Add the soaked soya chunks, salt and stir for 3-5 minutes
  4. Now add chopped pumpkin, chopped potato and stir for 3 minutes.
  5. Add 1½  cups water and mix, cover and cook.
  6. Add garam masala and take the Kadai or Pan off the heat.
  7. Serve with rice or roti.
