Ingredients
- Banana stem, chopped
- 2 cups Whole Moong Beans/Whole Green Gram Beans
- 2 tbsps oil
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 2 big potatoes, chopped
- 2 dry chillies
- 1 onion, sliced
- 10 curry leaves
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- ½ tsp cumin powder
- ¼ tsp turmeric powder
- salt to taste
- ½ tsp garam masala powder
Instructions
- Chopped the Banana stem.
- Heat oil in a pan, add fennel seeds, dry chillies, curry leaves, sliced onion, ginger garlic paste and saute till golden brown.
- Add turmeric powder, potatoes, whole moong beans, cumin powder and saute for a minute.
- Add the chopped Banana Stem, salt and stir for 5-7 minutes
- Add 3 cups water and mix, cover and cook.
- Add garam masala, coriander leaves and take the pan off the heat.
- Serve with rice or roti.
