  • Heat oil in a pan, add fennel seeds, dry chillies, curry leaves, sliced onion, ginger garlic paste and saute till golden brown.
  • Add turmeric powder, potatoes, whole moong beans, cumin powder and saute for a minute.
  • Add the chopped Banana Stem, salt and stir for 5-7 minutes
  • Add 3 cups water and mix, cover and cook.
  • Add garam masala,  coriander leaves and take the pan off the heat.

  • 2 cups Whole Moong Beans/Whole Green Gram Beans
  • 2 tbsps oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 big potatoes, chopped
  •  2 dry chillies
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 10 curry leaves
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • ½ tsp cumin powder
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  •  salt to taste
  • ½ tsp garam masala powder
