Ingredients
- 1½ kg fresh ripe Guavas
- 2 glass water
- a pinch pink food colour
- 1 cup of sugar
Instructions
- Clean the Guavas and chopped them.
- Add Guavas to a deep pan.
- Add 2 glasses of water and boil them until they become soft.
- Remove and mash them with the help of a masher.
- Strain the boiled Guavas juice with a muslin cloth and tie it up.
- Let the juice pour down in a container.
- After collecting the Guavas juice, take a pan and pour the juice into it on high flame.
- keep stirring and add a pinch of pink food colour.
- When the juice reduces to half, add sugar and stir constantly.
- When juice turns thick, it time to turn of the flame.
- Pour the jelly into a clean glass container after cool down.
Notes
- You can add 1 tsp lemon juice into the jelly at the time of cooking as a preservative.
